Janome Soft 'n Sharp scissors are the sewing enthusiasts favourite. The inner section of the handles that surround your fingers have a 'soft' feel to cushion the impact of cutting, by contrast, the outer section is made from a tougher material which give these scissors their excellent strength and durability. There is also an important difference in the design of the blades. Soft 'n' Sharp scissors have an upper 'knife edge' blade which produces a very smooth cutting action.
