Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read the following terms prior to ordering. 

Jay Trim is a wholesale only business to business organisation and as a result does not trade with members of the public.  Anyone is welcome to browse the site but trade pricing is only available to registered users.  In order to register as a trade user, details of your business will need to be provided and verified by ourselves.  If you are in business please click on the REGISTER link above to apply for a trade account.  Once verified, you will be sent an email confirming that you can log-in and view trade pricing. Please note that only businesses with a connection to the haberdashery or craft trades, or those with a bona-fide requirement for our products, will be verified as trade users. 

Suitable forms of verification at least one of the following:-

  • Business bank account card or cheque book.
  • A functioning e-commerce website (Other e-commerce platforms will be considered on their own merit with proof).
  • National Market Traders Federation membership card.
  • VAT registration certificate.
  • Rental slips from markets, craft fairs or exhibitions (On headed paper from the organisers and show regular attendance). 
  • In-date lease agreements on commercial premises.
  • Up to date public or product liability insurance certificates will be considered alongside evidence of trading.

Others forms of verification will be considered on their own merit.

There is no minimum order value but orders under £50 in value excluding VAT and carriage (UK only) will be subject to a small order charge of £10 (this does include your delivery). All orders to be paid by credit/debit card in advance of despatch. A 5% discount will be allowed for orders over £100 net value (this will not be shown in the Shopping Basket but will be deducted at the time of invoicing). All orders under £200 net value will be subject to carriage at our normal rates (mainland only, some remote areas excluded).  All orders over £200 net value will be sent carriage free (mainland only, some remote areas excluded). 

Please note that the above discounts may not apply to negotiated prices for bulk orders or items that have special, promotional discounts already applied.

Privacy policy

We collect certain information or data when you use www.jay-trim.co.uk which is all held securely.

We record all incoming phone calls to Jay Trim Ltd. 

All information is only held internally and is never passed on to a third party.

Payment Methods 

We accept payments in cash (callers only) or by credit/debit card. We regret that we no longer accept cheques. 

Members of the public who require any of our products should contact us by email. We will send details of a retailer who can help either locally or by mail order.

Goods supplied by us on custom jobs (ribbon printing, ribbon cutting etc) are non-refundable once payment has been taken.

Discount terms differ on custom jobs carried out by a third party as best price is provided.

Our premises are monitored by a video surveillance system for the purposes of safety and crime prevention.
